Finding vegetarian options in a Medellin Restaurant can be challenging. The cuisine of Colombia is meat centric, and Colombians are not in the habit of even eating salads, never mind an entire meal without their favourite cut of meat.
Buddy Jesus loves juggling his healthy bread.
One option for vegetarian that I found was in the Medellin restaurant of Saldudpan. Saludpan in Laureles started out as a bakery of wholesome and unique breads about three years ago. The passion of providing healthy options to the local Paisas led the owner to expanding the business to offer a variety of healthy option foods.

Saludpan offers a large array of amazing breads. Their offerings include everything from banana bread to gluten-free bread. Beyond bread, the small store sells a variety of foods for healthy living such as: oils, nuts, gluten-free, diabetic friendly, and hard to find vegetarian options.
This is the Medellin restaurant you should be looking for if you’re veg.
The set menu lunches are truly fantastic. They offer three options: a healthy meat option, a vegetarian option, and a raw food option. Each option comes with a fantastic fresh juice, and one of the best soups you’ll ever have.
If you’re looking for a change from your standard meat, rice, and potatoes plate in Medellin, look no further than Saludpan in Laureles. They’ll greet you with a smile, serve fresh food, and provide a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy it in. You won’t be disappointed.
How to Get to Saludpan in Medellin Colombia
Saludpan is located in the somewhat complicated area of Laureles. The address is: Circular 4, 70-78.
If you, or your taxi driver have a hard time finding it, go to the UPB entrance on Carrera 70 and walk three blocks north. Take a left onto Circular 4. It’s half a block up on your right hand side.
