About Me

In 2011 I was looking for a new challenge. I chose the amazing country of Colombia as my first step into adventure. I took my laptop in order to trade stocks, hired a professor to learn Spanish, went to weekly salsa lessons to learn how to move, and took my bike with me to explore the Colombian countryside. My flight was booked into Medellin, Colombia for October 13th, the day before my 30th birthday. Since then I have spent 7 months in Colombia, realized a life-long goal of learning Spanish (it’s still a process,) salsa danced my way into looking like a local, sambaed a couple nights away on the streets of Rio, cycled the coffee region of Colombia, breathed in the sultry flavours of Buenos Aires, and cycled the scenic surroundings of Andalucia, Spain. I am now back in Calgary, Canada looking to display some of the amazing that is my home. Life is truly an adventure, and I try to inspire you to come along for the journey!

Twenty years from now

You will be more disappointed

By the things you didn’t do

Than by the ones you did.

So throw off the bowlines.

Sail away from the safe harbour.

Let the trade winds catch your sails.
